Private Classes

Some students only need one lesson to get on track while others need at least 4.  Some students are lifelong students who just prefer private lessons.  Your lesson may be a specific area you need help with or it can be a full vinyasa type class tailored just for you.  What ever your reasons are, private lessons are a great way to learn more about the practice and your body.

  • improve your postures and alignmenttadasanaassist
  • adapt your poses to your body type
  • gain more body awareness
  • learn and practice advanced poses
  • focus on injury rehabilitation
  • properly realign the body
  • enhance performance in other sports/activities
  • compliment physical therapy or personal training regimen
  • get some familiarity to the practice before you go to group classes

Sessions can be tailored to meet your needs from 1hr to 2hrs.  Nikki often gives you post session homework so you can retain what you learned.  She also often video tapes the sessions or takes pictures so you have a visual reference for later on.

Classes are held at your location, at a studio, outdoors, at your office or wherever you’d like.

Corporate Classes

As a former high tech engineer, Nikki understands the challenges people have from working long hours at the desk.  It’s important to get the project done but it’s also important to take care of your bodies so you can focus better at the desk and prevent many ergonomic issues that may arise from prolonged sitting or repetitive motions.

crescentlungeNikki currently teaches corporate yoga to several big companies in the Silicon Valley area.  The specialized Yoga Tune Up® classes have been popular amongst the corporate yogis because of the pain relief they get from self massage techniques thru the use of therapy balls followed by a yoga practice.

Bring yoga to your workplace whether your company has a fitness center with dedicated studio space or just a large conference room.

Yoga at the workplace helps:

  • reduce and relieve tension from sitting at the desk
  • focus on common pain areas such as shoulders, back, and carpel tunnel thru specialized Yoga Tune Up® classes
  • great team building activity
  • create a healthy environment to ensure you have happy and productive employees

Whether you want to incorporate a yoga session before a meeting as a team building exercise or to promote health and well-being to your employees, Nikki can help you customize a yoga program to meet your needs.
